so i finally sat down to look at what i would want for christmas and it looks like most of it has to be bought off the internet (so too late) or is way too expensive, so it looks like it's Nut n Honey for me this year.
anyway here's at least some ideas.
note: for all equipment craigslist could be a money saver
- audio interface for home recording one of these (or similar?) Focusrite Scarlett 2i4 (i think the 2i2 would work as well, found a couple on craigslist cheaper) Native Instruments Komplete Audio 6 Mackie Onyx BlackJack i have no idea which one. i went dizzy researching them. maybe ask someone or see if you can get lucky on craigslist.
- good over the ear headphones used primarily for listening to music, but would be great if they were good studio headphones as well. google something like "best over ear headphones for music and studio" and get the cheapest?
- shure SM57 microphone

- Carhartt quilted bibs, sz 38 x 32, standard brown color (shows dirt less), but any color will do. NOT the arctic kind. the less expensive quilting.
